Pure Linen Checked Pleat Front Trousers

I love these trousers! Absolutely gorgeous. Thought they might be too wide as I’m only 5’1 but they were great and the short length was perfect. I bought the jacket as well! A lovely suit. A little bit different… love it.

The trousers are a really nice style and look fab with the matching jacket. They will also be easy to wear with a smart or casual top. They fit nice around the waist, are true to size, and the petite length (i am 5ft 3in) was good with higher heels but possibly a big long for flats. But as soon as i put them on I knew they would be a firm favourite.

Love these trousers. I ordered in sizes 8 & 10 as I had read previous reviews re sizing & confess sizing is a bit odd. I settled on the size 10 - although the waist is a bit big the pleat hang better. (Waist on size 8 pair perfect for me but front pleats didn’t hang well). Overall despite sizing trousers look good & length on me (short as I am 5 ft ) is fine. Would have give 5/5 but for sizing.

I bought them as the suit but as other reviews the jacket in not a good fitting but happy to keep the trousers, 12L for me 5ft 9” need a slight platform to save dragging in the floor but good quality light weight hang well, yes agree inside can be scratchy but that doesn’t seat from the look of these.

I absolutely love these trousers. Have worn them at least weekly so far. They are a go-anywhere style and very comfortable. Have received many compliments. Highly recommend.

Lovely trousers, sized up so that the pleats at the front sat correctly, I already had the top to match, the material is of good quality, will look great worn together or as separates, would definitely recommend

Really nice other than the material is really rough and scratchy - found them uncomfortable so returned

A combination of wide leg and gingham fabric makes these trousers a summer hit. My only criticism is they could be a touch longer. I’m 5ft 6 and purchased the regular length which would normally work well for me at M&S but they came up a little shorter than I’d like (no long length available) I’ve teamed with retro trainers which work well and I’m looking forward to wearing them.

Lovely pair of linen trousers that can be worn dressed up or down . Had to order and try a few pairs in different sizes and lengths from 10 to 14 before getting a pair that fitted both in length and waist size. Ended up with M&S size 12 regular, Was worth the effort as they look great on .

Got a size 10 and it was a perfect fit and perfect length for me. Got the matching jacket with it too but the trousers work really well on their own and can be paired up with lots of different colors. Material was a little stiffer than I expected but it may relax a little after a wash. Very pleased!

There is a lot of chat at the moment about sizing. I ordered size 12 regular and short length. Not only were the short VERY short they were 2” smaller in the waistband! Same size 12, 2” smaller. I have always been between a 10 and 12. I have absolutely no idea what to order anymore. I am waiting for another size 12 to arrive as the pockets are damaged on the 12 regular … don’t get me started about the new SPARKS “rewards”, I’m so disappointed in this cutback and will definitely think at least twice before ordering. I am a very regular shopper with M&S and feel they have the on trend styles nailed, however, quality control and sizing issues together with the reduction of loyalty offers are becoming just too random and annoying I’m looking elsewhere.
